Vande Mataram Degree College of Arts, Commerce & Science successfully organized an Intercollegiate Dance Competition along with a Fashion Show themed “Shaurya” on 20th January 2026 as part of its Annual Day celebration. The event aimed to promote cultural awareness, artistic expression, and intercollegiate interaction among students. Participants showcased diverse dance forms such as classical, semi-classical, folk, and fusion, while the fashion show reflected the theme “Shaurya,” highlighting courage, patriotism, and cultural pride through creative costumes and confident presentations. The competition was judged by Abhishek Pawar, and also featured participation from Chembur Karnataka Sangha’s Chembur Karnataka Night College, adding a competitive dimension to the event. Organized under the guidance of Mrs. Mahek Bhatia and Mrs. Rajkumari Bande, the programme received enthusiastic support from students and staff and concluded with a vote of thanks. The event was a grand success, contributing significantly to the cultural and holistic development of the students.
