Guest Lecture: How to Build a Project-From Idea to Implementation

The Department of Computer Science organized an insightful guest lecture on "How to Build a Project" for Third Year (TY) Computer Science and Information Technology students on 7th August 2025 at 10:00 AM in Computer Lab C.

The session was conducted by Ms. Poonam Shalesa, an expert in Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and AI Bot Creation. With her extensive experience in advanced technologies and project development, Ms. Shalesa provided students with a structured approach to building successful academic and real-world projects.

The lecture covered key stages of project development, including:

1. Identifying and defining a project problem
2. Conducting requirement analysis
3. Choosing suitable tools and technologies
4. Designing system architecture
5. Implementation and version control
6. Testing and debugging
7. Effective documentation and project presentation

Ms. Shalesa emphasized the importance of innovation, planning, teamwork, and continuous learning in project development. She also shared several practical examples and real-world applications from her own work in AI and data-driven solutions, giving students a glimpse into industry practices.

The session was highly interactive, with students engaging in Q&A and discussions. The valuable insights and guidance shared during the lecture will undoubtedly help students in preparing for their final year projects and enhance their readiness for careers in tech. 57 students are benefitted in this guest lecture session.
