Regardless of race, religion, or cultural background, the VMC is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that values diversity and respects each person's unique value. By honoring the equality values outlined in the Indian Constitution, it strongly supports the rights of everyone, particularly those from disadvantaged communities. Establishing an OBC, SC, ST, and Minorities Cell with the following goals in mind is essential to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Objectives

The main aim to address various facets of support and empowerment for OBC,SC, ST and minority students within the institution are as follows:

Ensuring Safety and Security: Creating an environment that prioritizes the safety and security of these students, fostering a space where they feel protected and valued.

Prompt Emotional Support: Offering immediate counseling and support services to address any emotional emergencies that may arise due to events occurring on campus, ensuring timely assistance for mental and emotional well-being.

Grievance Redressal Mechanism: Establishing a structured system to address and resolve grievances that OBC, SC, ST, and minority students might encounter, providing an avenue for their concerns to be heard and acted upon.

Protection and Reservation: Guaranteeing the safeguarding of their rights and entitlements as provided for in the constitution of India, ensuring fairness and equity in opportunities and resources.

Career Enhancement Opportunities: Arranging specialized avenues for career growth, such as coaching for competitive examinations, to empower these students and enhance their prospects for professional success.

Each objective plays a crucial role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment, promoting not just equality but also providing avenues for growth and success for these specific student groups.
