1. About Excursions, Field Visits and Study Tours

JMF’s Vande Mataram College of Arts, Commerce & Science recognises experiential learning as an important component of holistic higher education. Excursions, field visits, and study tours provide students with valuable opportunities to extend classroom learning through practical observation, direct interaction, and real-world exposure.

These educational activities are intended to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications by exposing students to academic institutions, industries, research organisations, historical locations, environmental sites, commercial establishments, and community-based organisations.

Field visits and study tours encourage students to develop observation skills, critical thinking, teamwork, communication, research abilities, professional awareness, and a deeper understanding of their respective disciplines.

Such activities may be organised by academic departments and relevant institutional committees with prior approval from the competent authority, subject to educational objectives, institutional guidelines, student safety requirements, and available resources.
